Atbash Cipher

April 11, 2011
The Atbash Cipher is an easily reversible, elementary cipher based around a reverse-alphabet substitution cipher.

Processing words through this cipher will result in the alphabet-opposite letter in each letter's place. A second time processing the words will yield the original.

Back in 6th grade, I devised this scheme (or so I thought) to communicate with other people in the class without being discovered -- until the teacher busted one of the easier-to-break students who knew this big-time encryption method.

I.E.
A = Z
B = Y
C = X
D = W
